The energy sector is nowadays at the center of socio-economic issues and the fight against global warming. Despite its central role, this sector remains underdeveloped in Niger and rural areas remain the most marginalized with a coverage rate of around 1% against 50% for urban centers. This project aims to electrify 250 villages across Niger by installing micro-plants equipped with photovoltaic solar kits in order to promote economic and social development in rural centers.
