The Diffa diesel power plant hybridization project is part of the Niger government's energy policy, which aims to increase the country's energy capacity in order to achieve energy independence. The project aims to strengthen the production capacity of the current plant through the construction of a photovoltaic solar park, to meet the constantly growing demand for electricity in the Diffa region.
