The construction project of the hybrid thermal / solar power plant with a production capacity of 60 MW at Soraz aims to compensate for the recurring deficit in electrical energy in the Center-East of Niger (Zinder, Maradi, Tahoua) in order to promote the exploitation of mining and solar resources abounding in Niger. The implementation of the project will increase national coverage and improve the quality of the electricity supply to the areas served in order to contribute to the socio-economic development of the regions of Center-East of Niger.
