In the absence of access to grid electricity, the populations of Niger, like those in the sub-region, are increasingly using solar equipment to meet most of their needs, which are generally geared towards comfort. The growing demand takes with it an importation of equipment from all sources and of questionable quality. The objectives of the project are to create :

• An assembly of solar panels and various solar kit options including lighting systems, cooling, pumping etc.
• An assembly line for solar street lights;
• A production or assembly unit of solar water heaters

• Respond to the strong national demand and the countries of the sub-region for energy;
• Promote renewable energies;
• Diversify the energetic supply in Niger.
