Niger abounds in energy resources but remains dependent on neighboring countries for the satisfaction of its energy needs. To increase its energy independence and meet the growing demand for A1 jet and heavy fuel oil from international airlines, domestic airlines and neighboring countries (Mali, Burkina Faso, Nigeria, etc.), Niger plans to produce within 5 years jet A1, heavy fuel oil and commercial products, in particular gasoline, diesel and LPG intended for supplying the national and sub-regional market. This project will: - On the one hand, install a device that will soften the kerosene produced by SORAZ to produce A1 jet; - On the other hand, to secure the supply of gasoline, diesel and LPG.
